This is a weird one.
Both of the lights in the boot of my S60 are out. I removed one of them, and upon inspection, it appears to be okay. That is, the little filament in the bulb is still there, stretched across the inside of the bulb. I also checked the fuse, which is intact.
If nobody has any ideas, I suppose I'll just go and get some bulbs on the offchance that an intact filament doesn't mean anything, but usually when bulbs go it's easy to see just by looking at them. Or is it?
Cargo compartment lights out - fuse and bulbs seem fine

Sometimes it's the contacts within the bulb receptacle. They either get corroded or for some reason don't make good contact. If the new bulbs don't work, try cleaning the receptacle with contact cleaner or even an emery board to restore the connection.

Took me a while, but I remembered to pick up new bulbs the other day when I was getting a new dipped beam bulb anyway.
Neither side's light is working. I've checked for corrosion, but the bulb receptacles are both in excellent condition as far as I can see.
I assume there's some sort of switch somewhere to make the lights come on when I open the cargo compartment, like a refrigerator has? If so, does anyone know where it is so I can check it?

There's actually a dial on the light fixture itself, I believe. Look around. It might be right in front of your face, or on the center one.
