2006 v70r iginition wires
I can't find a part number or listing for the wire that go to the ignition coils. Does anyone know what it is and where i can find it?

It’s part of a the main wiring harness, a big one. Probably way too expensive to consider over a repair job.

- Best is to do a "butt connector" repair job.
- Do NOT solder new wires, use butt connector.
- Also, if you want to be particular about it, then use shrinkable tubing to seal the butt connectors.

Solder the wires. Butt connectors where never intended for permanent repairs and they fail often.
The Soldering in the picture are cold solder joints, the solder did not flow. The copper is not clean and was not heated enough to melt the solder.
The solder iron is used to heat the copper not melt the solder. That is the copper should be heated enough that one can take away the iron and melt the solder directly on the copper.
The solder will melt and flow across the surface of the copper and become part of the joint if the copper is clean and heated enough. Solder should be part of the joint not "glue" tacking it together.

Do a nice heat NASA solder repair , don’t forget to install the heat shrink first, well away from the solder area

I would suggest hitting the junkyards... only I have no idea where does that wire loom end in order to be able to remove it from the donor car
I also notice one of the wires has too small gauge, in particular here there's quite some current running so it needs repaired properly (and insulate really well with electric tape)

The engine and transmission is all one big harness, it terminates at the ECM & TCM. A new one would knock him back ~$900.00.

Thanks all. I'm going to nasa solder it for now and probably put a larger gauge wire in.
