So I became a happy owner of a 1992 944 few months ago. Everything is working okay. The car had multiple sensors inside that indicated it does have an aftermarket alarm. Now I've looked at the wires and some of them are bundled together and numbered. Does anyone have any idea from where I should look for the brain of the alarm? I got no FOBs and no mentions about it. Already checked under the steering wheel, where the ECU is.
The alarm siren itself under the hood had a name on it but that company is no more, cannot really find anything about it online.
Any help would be highly appreciated.
Aftermarket alarm?
