I very rarely (as in never) use the horn so I have never experienced a failure. That said, I have been nothing but happy with the gears they provide and I'm sure the horn kit is of similar quality.

Odometer(s): That's the next fix. None of my 3 odo's are now working. FCP actually sells a kit containing both gears plus 4 lamps (for while we're in there) for $29.00. I think they're from the same vendor.
I seldom use the horn either. But just in case, on my 93 that had failed contacts I just installed a horn button on top of the steering post shroud just forward of the steering wheel. I had to use a relay, and it sticks a little during cold weather, so sound trails off for a second or two. A correct fix would be better.
I talked with an 855 owner yesterday whose horns were stuck blaring when the key was on. Searching the web I discovered that failure in the "on" position is not uncommon.

200% yes!!! I have the kit myself. Crazy part, before I knew about it, posted here too.
My mechanic thought I was crazy because they could never ever get the horn to beep.
Then I hunted like a wolf, found those guys, called them up. It works never ever had a problem.
And my stupid mechanic said “hey you figured it out” as if he believed me all along.
Get it! These guys make great kits. Wish they made more!

No they don't. They should know, feel free to them! They were great to talk with. I'd buy anything they made for a Volvo. This kit was a lifesaver.
