04' V70 rim fit

Hi All - first post,

Just picked up an 04 V70 2.5T titanium edition that came with 17" aftermarket rims that were all very busted up (bent). Trying to change them out as soon as possible as the tire tread is all completely busted up.

I'd like the car to have as comfortable & safe of a ride on the highway so I think choosing 16" wheels will probably be a better choice since I need to get new ones anyway? On a tight budget and have found some used Perfos from someone local. I have tried reading extensively on rim compatibility and I know the bore hub and lug sizing should be the same at 65.1mm & 5 x 108. The issue is that I know the wheel offset on a 04 v70 should be 43mm - I am getting different sizes when I look online for the Perfos. One site says they are 43mm offset and another says 35mm. From most everything I am finding online, looks like these Perfos are mostly on older P1 V70's.

Should these have any trouble fitting on my 04 v70 regardless or will they match up just fine with no issues? Also, if anyone has or knows anyone with rims with any other wheels that will fit I would greatly appreciate the info.

V70's of that vintage came with either 16's or 17's and, at least on the front wheels, two different brake rotor sizes. It's likely the Titanium trim package came with 17's and large rotors. Before plunking down a bunch of dough on new 16's, make sure they will clear the caliper.

Only R and police cars had larger brakes than 16" rims allow. NAs had 15" brakes. Then the cars could have been speced and sold with larger rims than the brakes required anyway.

If you are anywhere near Harry's U Pull It in West Hazelton Pa, you can usually walk out with a nice set of alloy wheels for $30/wheel. I have commonly found four matching wheels in good shape.
