Asking about oil additives is basically just a can of worms. The general consensus is that if you know the history of your engine, and you run a quality oil, additives are probably not going to help much. In relevance to your oil pressure light, it could hurt, it could help, but we still don't know what's causing the light. If the light is on due to a blocked oil pickup screen or something, flushing the engine and loosening more deposits may not be such a good idea.

Just an oil change. It’s an unknown maintained engine so go slow. You don’t want to break lots of sludge free if it has been neglected. Oil and filter change, in about 500-1000 miles look at oil condition on dipstick and see How dirty it looks. Use synthetic oil too, maybe the cheaper synthetic blend if you think you will be changing it soon.

Hello all,
Here is the update.
I changed the oil and filter, the light never came on steady but blinked once for like less than a second. Hopefully it will never come back.
As far as the leak, I still see some oil dripping from the drain plug. I changed the washer when changed oil tough. Do you think a new drain plug will help?
