2000 VOlvo ?? No start. Radio dead after disconnectt

i had my battery disconnected for about two months while i was wrking on car reconnected the battery but radio or cd or tape won't give me sound or play is it the fuse or what can it be

There are no codes on these.

Have you got the separate amp under the passenger seat? Check the fuse for that if so. Otherwise it should be the same fuse for everything so if the radio powers on there should be sound.

What is the player series HU-xxx ?? This will determine if you have the separate amp or not.

Also perform "correct" battery reconnect for P2 series. Place ignition in PosII THEN reconnect negative battery lead LAST.

Went to car today and the radio was playing with sound didn't have to do anything but didn't have time to work on my most urgent issue of car not starting still I want to know what is the chance of doing any harm to my engine concerning the work already done pertaining to cylinder head rebuilding and timing belt etc of car not starting what I should be looking out for

I checked for any codes this morning it said ignition advance timing cylinder one not set right something to that effect can someone tell me what that means and did starter check it said check connection so can this be issues of car not starting
