Has anyone rebuilt their calipers?

I need to rebuild my front calipers and I was checking to see if anyone on here has a quick write up. Pictures are great too.

I think it is cheaper and quicker to just get rebuilt ones.
I have done them before(not volvos though) Once you have the caliper on the bench , remove the bleed screw and use an air compressor and shot air into the bleed hole to puch out the piston. Keep everything clean with brake fluid. Check the bore for rust and scoring. Replace parts
Like I said ,I think it is cheaper to just get a rebuilt

Agree on the rebuilts. If you are rebuilding many times you encounter pitting on either the cylinder or piston which may make you change your mind and go for a rebuilt anyway.

Sorry,I do know how to spell the word "push" from my other answer. I actually just sold some "puch" moped parts on ebay and had that word in my mind

The caliper seal must have blown when I compressed them to put in the new pads because I had fluid spewing all over from the inside of the caliper leaking all over my wheels.

I ended up just getting some rebuilt ones from my local advance auto parts. The rebuild kit was 15/side vs. the rebuilt ones were only 59/side. Thanks for the input.
