Hope you all had a happy fourth! Anyone changed out the two idler pulleys lately? Not a lot of room down there...
What tool is required to loosen the spring-driven pulley? Looks like a 3/4 extension will fit in there. Is there a cap on the other pulley that I can snap off and get to the nut?
Other advice? I've got a 'chattering' when A/C is on, looking to replace these two pulleys first, if not solved I'll look at that compressor. Another guy told me the belt brand makes a big difference...not sure if I want to spend another $20 on a wild goose chase.....ideas?
