Just a small warning with the clogged sunroof drains. At 0:40 and 5:00 in this video I mention the side curtain airbag got wet from this this. It would be important to check these curtain airbags if the sunroof drains got clogged, because with cold weather the wet airbag will freeze up and may get damaged from the ice formation. I know mine was already replaced by Volvo in the past.

So perhaps have a look at 0:40 and 5:00 in this video

Started an extensive troubleshooting process involving CANBUS programming to find out why my rear 12V socket isnt working. Any guidance appreciated

Preliminary diagnosis is third seat heater interference with CANBUS ground

Bought it. '04 XC70 160 k miles, Ruby Red Metallic. Needs a couple things (driver side window is off track and probably needs new slider blocks) but not really much at all.

I just finished PCV job in hope that it's going to help my rear main seal leak. Started with small overpressure in the crankcase but now I have a solid suction in all rpm.
The old bajo bolt on the engine side had some calcium deposits (or rust?) inside and the one way valve was missing. I HATE both bajo bots, it took me good hour to get both of them on.

Took window out of spare driver door I bagged at Harry's the other day to use in repairing the '04 XC. I noticed the slider blocks were shot, but probably useable (I opted against reusing and since all dealer parts departments were closed today, ordered new replacements). If regulator in the car is OK, I'll have an easy repair and should be back in business by the end of the weekend.

Replaced the light stalk mechanism. Old one was worn out with vague clicks. New stalk wrong colour and year so I had to take both apart and use just the mechanism from the replacement.
