Hey! First post! Hoping to get some help. Any and all is appreciated.
I have what sounds like a belt squeak. Not at all the PCV squeak sound. I should mention the PCV squeak occurred in August and was replaced.
Squeak has primarily only occurred at idle. This morning when I started it it was making a humming when I revved it a bit. This is extremely unnerving for me.
Sometimes it does not squeak at all, but it always goes SQUEAAAAAAAAK when I turn off the car.
I took the car to firestone and they said everything is fine.
Any help? I have no issue replacing both SERP belts and tensioners but I’m terrified it might be the timing belt or water pump. If my car dies I am absolutely screwed.
Thanks!

Go someplace else and get a second diagnostic. The big incorporated persons don't get the best mechanics because they woun't pay for the best.
