Thinking my high beam relay is not working. Cannot locate it. Where might it be?

Appears to be on the CEM.
What are your symptoms that lead you to believe the relay is not working?

Switch triggers the low beams to elevate, blue dash light comes on, fuses are good, high beam bulbs are good. The only thing left in the chain as far as i know is the relay.
And pardon my ignorance...........what is, where is the CEM?

The "Relay" is actually a mosfet on the circuit board. Search forums, some people use appropriate substitute, unsolder old mosfet and install new mosfet.

2004 is the last year of first generation CEM and still has relays and the shunts. No shunt is used for high beams though. The CEM is under left side dash mounted vertical. Has fuses and relays. On the left side there are large relays on outboard side and smaller relays inboard. The high beam relay is in the 4th position from top in inboard column of relays. There may not be 4 relays used in your car so the position count needs to include open positions. The high beam relay would be in the 4th position above the shunts. The shunts look like black cards stuck into the CEM connectors. 2/63 is the HB relay, 2/62 is for low beam. Shunt for low beam is 20/27.

Have you checked your light beam stalk and light switch? I have read a few posts where this was the problem.
I believe the CEM has two types of relays which each are used in a few locations. You can either swap the relays and see if things change, or source a new or used one. I found a car going to the scrapper on Craigslist and cleaned out all the shunts and relays for spares, cost $5

Halogen or BiXenon lights? On bixenon the outers tilt up and inners do not come on. The inner are daytime running lights. I won't assume that they worked and now don't without asking some more questions.

Jimmy57.......thank you so much for the response. I don't use the car much and don't check the forum much. Believe it or not I just saw your response. It is exactly what I was looking for. Will did into it very soon. Looks easy enough
I now have a new issue you might be able to help with. Seems my auto leveling headlamps are not working. Recently i noticed that both low beams now are aimed very low. I posted about this and the diagnosis is the leveling system. The motors work when I hit the high beams (not yet fixed) so can i assume it is one or more of the sensors? If so where are they and how do I replace them?
