Yeah, Volvo kicked our butts today. On me, mostly.

I was under prepped, and forgot the crucial tool to get this done, the 1/4 inch drive socket M6 needed for a lot of close quarter work.

What's worse is three hours later I realised I have them in the T5 tool kit.

Stopped in at Church to atone for my language dealing with the P2 turbo PCV banjo bolt. The vicar proposed an exorcism for having been in close proximity the Beast.

Note..Volvos run better with the ETM attached.

Purchased a 2005 V70 2.4 NA with 140k on the odometer. Timing belt changed at 88k
Needs mayor service, but still drives ok except for a clunck when down shifting from 2-1 when hot.
ATF fluid is dirty, that will be first thing to fix.
Was dealer maintained, in the beginning not for the last 3-4 years. Needs oil change, filters , spark plugs, coolant flush ( more water then coolant☹️) and new brakefluid
Oil trap is leaking / sweating still original
Scanned the car with Vida :
Ecm-641a
DdM/Pdm-010
Cem-6e01 (fuel door tab broken)
Ecm990f
BCM-0100
BCM-0041
And more small stuff.
Looks like a have more to do to get it in good shape.

Completed brake job yesterday, I initially started with 4 Zimmermann rotors, 8 Akebono ceramic brake pads, 2 set screws for rotors and 2 front brake lines(soft). I had finished the back brakes a few weeks ago and finally got around to doing the front yesterday.

Took the S60 R out to the highway and drove it in today's -10 F daytime temps.

Talk about cold air intake!

Finally replaced the serpentine belt tensioner as I needed to wait for a T60 torx bit...
