I need to replace the upper engine mount bushing on my wifes 2004 S80 AWD with 70,000 miles. I am leaning toward the OEM "Rubber" bushing because my wife does not want any added vibration she may get from a 2-piece set. I did see a post here that showed how to remove the old bushing which looks easy enough. My question is how hard is it to install a new OEM bushing without a shop press? Does it make more sense to just buy the whole mount (metal assembly with bushing already installed)?
Thanks in advance for any input.
Dan
Update:
Well, I decided to go with the 2-piece Eurathane Bushing. I found one they said will not transmit any added vibration over the OEM. The new bushing (I will take a photo) is square with rounded off corners in the center (not round like most I have seen). The kit comes with the bushing and metal inner tube but no nut and bolt. They say to reuse the old bolt.
Now my question is this, should I get a new bolt or reuse the old one if it looks good. Also, does anyone know what the torque setting for this bolt is?
I will take pictures and post them when I'm done. I will also let you know how it works out over time.
Thanks.

We recently replaced ours on the '04 V70...the dealer did it under warranty. How about your car...is it still warrantied?

That's funny you asked that. The Volvo dealership that serviced this car (which will never service one of my cars again) told me ALL the bushings on the car needed to be replaced. They wanted roughly $1,000.00+ to replace the bushings and my car had only been out of warranty for a few hundred miles. I asked the dealer why this was not covered under warranty since all the bushings could not have just gone bad since the last time they serviced the car. They basically told me tough and pay for the repair.
My wife then took the car to an independant Volvo service station that told us the only bad bushing was in the upper engine mount. They only wanted $175.00 if I remember correctly. It only cost me $35.00 to have them look at the car which saved me $1,000.00 based on the Volvo dealers estimate.
Since I am very mechanically inclined I decided to do the work myself. I was going to replace the bushing with a eurathane bushing but my wife doesn't want to feel any added vibration. Thats how I ended up with my question about the OEM mount. Taking the old bushing out is not a problem, its getting the new one in that I am not sure about. If I can do it without a press then its a no brainer. If I truly need to press the new one in, then I will just replace the whole mount for about $65.00-75.00 versus the $25.00-35.00 for the bushing alone. Beats driving around looking for a shop press to use.

When they did ours they changed it from a round mount to a square one. I believe they changed out the entire aluminum arm that it goes in.

The new mount comes pressed in the metal housing.
If you remove the spark plug cover on top of the engine, you will see the bolts you need to remove to replace it.
The new mount may look different, like MIJ stated, but it is removed and installed exactly the same.
