Hi Elgato and welcome!

Appreciate working in english is hard (even for a Scotsman!), but just to try to make sure I understand what you are looking for.

You have had an accident in you 1998 S70 with a 2.5l 10 valve engine.

You have bought a 1998 S70 Tdi.

Are you trying to transfer the petrol/gas engine into the diesel S70? In which case you need to get the ECU box in the diesel S70 to work with the gas/petrol ECU. To do so you need a wiring diagram for both engine ECU's to see what is different?

Neil.

Everything IS different.
Looong job....doable but tricky.
It's tricky enough between different petrol managements....imagine how much work is needed for this conversion.

As above, that would be a major swap, not just hardware but also on the computer side.

I'm afraid you won't find such answer easily on forums (about the wire pins) but you may try on a Sweden forum (swedish people do speak english quite well even though the forums are in swedish). Surely some of them up there has already tried such swap.

Here's one of their forums https://www.jagrullar.se/forum/viewforum.php?f=61

You may want to use http://translate.google.com/ to manage navigate on the pages (some browsers have page translation as well), subscribe then post a topic in english. But again, this is a complex swap.

If you need to search maybe by yourself information from Sweden, here's how to use Google in Swedish language www.youtube.com/watch?v=8dp3bcss3y8

Don't forget to revert back you your language once finished at https://www.google.ca/preferences?hl=es
