For the roof rack, we used 3/4inch conduit with matching hangars. If you remove the drip rails that run the length of the car, there are threaded holes with hardware for mounting the clips. we were able to use these to literally just bolt on the conduit hangars upside down.

My wife created some decals, and we got loaded up!!

at this point, we got all of the issues previously mentioned, repaired. Dash fixed, all oil leaks repairs, all doors and windows fixed! Just used some lexan for the window on the smashed door. I wanted to free up some exhaust flow, but didnt want to be loud, so just removed the last muffler, It sounds PERFECT.

The oil cooler was cracked, so it was replaced, and the oil filler cap gasket was bad on top. This leaked oil over a long period of timne on the coil packs. It caused 2 to go bad.

Pics from the trip. Photos are uploaded in reverse for some reason.

This is the hardest i think anyone has ever driven a Volvo v70. We drove 18hrs straight OFF ROAD from Splendora TX, through multiple forests and state parks, almost to Louisiana, and then took hwy59 back to camp

The Volvo P2 is one of the most amazing vehicles I have EVER driven.This Wagon took it all, and even didn't break a thing. We placed 3rd out of about 100 racers as far as distance. Most people brought a 4x4, and didnt make it half as far as we did. The Volvo v70 is truly amazing!! It was a perfect balance of power and efficiency. We still used the heated seats, AC, and cruise control all the way home on the highway :)

I had more fun looking at those photos :)
Did those lifting devices added to the springs make for a hard ride?
Also, what kind of race/rally/??? was that?

Beast! The thread is fine as far as politics goes. I don't see anything objectionable.
Help keep MVS on the web -> click sponsors' links here on MVS when you buy from them.

Also -> Amazon link
. Click that when you go to buy something on Amazon and MVS gets a cut!

I take all correspondence at [email protected]. Thanks for taking this offline.

I killed PM for me years ago because I was having dual channel conversations and confusion.
