Steve (abscate) was down from Albany and helped me put a new radiator in the V70 R.

That's the first radiator I had ever done (truth to tell, Steve did most of the work). All in all, a pretty straightforward job on the P2s.

Thanks again Steve.

Tax deductible trip to ease NJ Pharma of the heavy burden of their cash, $2500

Beating book hours on a P2 Rad on first shot without lift... :D

Paying back some Evita karma, priceless.

Replaced the Bosch spark plugs with Volvo spark plugs. Wrapped coil wires in new loom and electrical tape.

knocked out an oil change. First oil change since I bought it. While wrench ragging the engine found a few items that I need to look into. Upper engine mount needs replaced, and I think the head gasket is leaking from the rear. Something to look into.

We took turns rolling underneath , having help sure eases the up/down strain on back and body.

A game for both, and we didn’t repeat mistakes of the much bigger PCV job.

Make sure you go back and check those turbo clamps for easing and coolant for seepage.

Can you measure the ID on the old radiator snouts? Maybe there is a way to fit the cheaper one with metal bits..

Cross posting this here as well just because I'm so happy with the results.

At 350' km it still looks pretty good a step or two away so the scratches don't show. Quick detailer used is tershine Refract. Shiny stuff.
