IF it can be disabled or not report to Volvo or anyone else I might say yes. I wouldn't mind if it watch me for drowsiness late at night. BUT if it removes my privacy in the slightest I'll disable the camera or buy a different car. Always. 100%.

Won't let me vote!

So one for yes

I wish my 2002 S80 T6 had been watching me when I fell asleep on the interstate in the early hours of the morning! Apparently I floored the accelerator when I fell asleep. I woke up as the car impacted a light pole, by then the car was in the air and rolled side over side out in a field.

I was lucky the interstate was curving left instead of right. Had it been right I would have gone into the median and likely head on into oncoming cars. I was blessed to be in a S80 (advanced car at that time) and stepped out unhurt. The AIR CURTAIN saved me from head injury. Back then they were new technology as the WIPPS system. Also the collapsible wheels took some of the impact.

So look at it as another way Volvo is attempting to keep it's customers safe. Adjusting to new technology is usually hard. June

No way! Bad enough we have our phones doing that. If there's anything in the world I hate most is the invasion of my privacy, that's why I put electrical tape on my phone camera lens.
