matthew > I have a welder, and was considering making one. Any reason you see that I wouldn't be able to just fab one up with some 1/8" plates and bar?

The top of the strut mounts might be tricky -- 3 bolts hold my brace down onto the strut towers on both sides, but the 'body' of the brace wouldn't be that hard, I imagine. I think you have to do one angle in it to clear something. Let me look for a pic...

hmm, that doesn't look very difficult to fab up. I'm thinking less than $20 worth of tubing and plates, my welder and drill press, and maybe some time with a spray can and I can get that done... Yay, I have a new project 8)
