Take note of the IGN coil pigtails. With the coil connectors facing in different directions it's not easy wrapping them. I almost got IGN coils 1 & 3 mixed up. I checked the wire color before starting her up and found the error.
What did you do to your P2 Volvo today?

Re: What did you do to your P2 Volvo today....now sticky!!
Replaced Bosch spark plugs with Volvo spark plugs. Also threw on new wire loom and electrical tape on the entire IGN coil harness. The OEM loom was getting brittle and broken off in a few spots.

Changed the timing belt, tensioners and top engine mount on the 01 V70 t5.
Changed it because i didnt know the history and the previous owner didnt know when I asked.
It was way past due if wasnt changed which I doubt.
Took me longer than I last remembered doing it on the s70 that i used to have.
First start after buttoning up concerned me when its ran rough for the first couple seconds.
After thinking about it, I guess it was because i turned the crank like 5 rotations when checking
timing. Took it for a drive and all good.

4c is outta here. I finally had the two rear struts sorted out. I bought a complete set of used struts from a2007 S60 AWD from Erie Volvo. The fronts did good but the rear sat about 1.5 " too tall. I kept the original rear 4c strut assemblies and the shop swapped out the springs. Now he sits like he should...Eh

I installed a real nice cargo (dog) barrier in my 05' V70. I found that on Craigslist nearby from a V70R enthusiast who sold his car.
Hopefully soon I will be able to install that rear wing I found on ebay, which is even in the correct color. I never thought I would find one in mistral green. It was incorrectly advertised as "Cyprus green". But I knew better that there is no such thing.

Well...I pulled the drain plug from the transmission on my 2002 v70 NT. I just did a full flush .... well... with 12 quarts of aisin T I-V a few weeks ago and it was black. Cleaned the magnet off and checked for shavings...none .. bought 4 more and put 3.5 quarts in and added a 1/2 bottle of lubegaurd. And no..I didn't measure it. I let it run for about 15 minutes and checked it. It was right between the cold/hot mark.

If the P2 is like the P80 there aren’t cold And hot marks but cold and hot ranges. Should be some threads in the forum

I hear what you all are saying. Yes it does say cold......hot on the dipstick. We're lucky we even have dipsticks. Sheesh.. the new ones are sealed and has light on the dash to let you know that they're low. Not all manufacturers.. but I heard a lot of them. I think that... that is arrogant. I'm going to run my wagon to work and check it again and post a pic of the transmission dipstick. I'm doing my best to salvage this wagon. I only have a few more items on my check list.
