More of an all-purpose question, but since I have a 940, I figured I'd start here. There's extensive paint peeling, etc. on the hood, roof, and elsewhere (see images below). Obviously, getting it repainted is the endgame, but in the interim, are there any suggestions for how to avoid further damage? Waxing? Cleaning? Something more drastic?
Appreciations for any and all suggestions.

Search for how to paint car with roller and rust oleum. You can do it in a day or two and it comes out amazing. Obviously , you have to sand edges where clear coat is peeling. It costs less than $50 and is easy with no special tools.
