No, it was uniform prior to the heater core replacement.

Updates:
1) I sealed off the heater core with foil tape and that seems to have solved that problem.

2) I did a dye test on the AC system and didn't see any leaks, but I am thinking it might be in the evaporator. I filled it up and have been running it daily since then (Saturday) and it still seems to be blowing ice-cold. Maybe I was just imagining things?

3) I got up under the dash and replaced the arm mechanisms for the blend door and it now works. I didn't realize it was broken in the first place, but that explains the low-airflow on the drivers' side.

I found a clean working temp sensor fan and will swap that one out in the HVAC cluster to see if I can get the temperature control to work next...
