Good luck, let me know if you have fresh notes to add after your xc90 project

For me visual steps slideshow works best and easier than scrolling paper notes or video while working.

I wanna do a Timing belt + water pump slide show pdf and share soon as well.

Just my 0.00002c but I really don't like those worm clamps on the PCV. When I did my PCV, I put a worm clamp - and it was actually the Volvo kind which is less prone to loosen by itself, and when I drove the car the worm clamp got slack and the PCV hose popped off. Lots of fun trying to push that hose back in place from under the intake manifold.

Really only use Oeticker clamps (the tool sells for $10 from China), and clean thoroughly the metal surface of any oils before sliding over and clamping any hose.

To Mikele82 and everyone else. I saw, drove and pulled codes from the XC-90 today.
There were 17 codes several of which were seemingly connected. There were a few I didn't have a clue about.
I starting a new thread for it for clarity.

On an engine with a badly plugged system, the drain at the bottom can be clogged in the oil pan/sump.
to clean the pan, it must be removed, thoroughly cleaned and re-installed.
