For grins I emailed WeatherTech yesterday to ask if they could ever do something for this problem. They can form fit floor coverings for any vehicle and thought maybe they could whip up a solution. Have not heard from they yet.

That sure is a beautiful job on the panels. I have 6 door panels in the attic which I have been trying to figure out, but this looks the best.

Jim and Dick, thanks for your responses....Lucky over at IPD said that he might work on a solution too but I'm not holding my breath.

Here's what I'm thinking- What I'd like to do is use mine and be a guinea pig for an upholster shop nearby...taking them the photo's here and see what they would do for me at a decent price with the promise of many more like mine if they can do a good job. Then I would become the middle man for everyone who needs this done or let them send their panels directly to the upholstery shop. What do you guys think? If I could get this going, would there be any takers? Of course, if someone here already knows an upholstery shop that would be interested in this business, I don't mind letting you get this going instead of me. I just know that there is a market for this and hate it that so many of us suffer from the bubbled panels.

That's what I'm thinking...if I had the equipment and knew how, I'd do it myself and also take everyone's business. Seems like it could be a good little side job.

It's called a sewing machine and someone to show you how to sew

Well, Jim...you make it sound so easy. I think it's more than a sewing machine...at least a heavy duty one....one that can handle a thick piece of leather and then some. But I know what you're saying.

My luck, I'd sew my thumb into place as well, so I'll defer to a decent upholstering shop. I'll start my search in the morning.

I'll keep my eye on this thread; I would love to get mine fixed. I don't have an upholstery shop nearby, so this sounds like it would work well for me. My interior is perfect except for those stupid door panels.
