2004 S80 MAP Sensor Location

Can anyone help me, please? I have a 2004 S80, Non-Turbo model that is not running well at all. When it starts it is either rough to start or when it starts is has a rough idle. When you step on the accelerator the RPM's will not go over 2000. I ran a code reader and I get a P0105 code that says it is a Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit issue.

My problem is that I CAN NOT find the "Bleeping" MAP Sensor anywhere. Can someone please tell me where it is located and possibly post a picture or accurate diagram? Thank You

Might help if you would state which engine is in your S80. Also I would advice to do a readout with DICE, might show some more info

Its the 2.9 Liter L6 Non-Turbo.

There is no MAP sensor but there is a barometric sensor soldered onto the ECM board.
What is the code the scanner gives?

The code is P0105

I think you are going to have to get a read with manufacturer specific codes. Some scanners will read the code in some coars and the conversion list to P type codes from manufacturer specific codes is wrong. There is no MAP sensor on a 2.9 non turbo as it has Bosch Motronic 7.01 and that system does not use one. I wanted to look up the code as sometimes the ambient temp sensor that is part of the MAF on that car will display a wrong code on a generic scan tool but that is not the code that sets.

Do you think replacing the ECM will solve that issue?

It might but that is not a plug n play ECM change. The dealer can't install a used one and Xemodex charges $300 plus to clone your info from old one to a used one you supply. I do not trust the code you have to be accurate for the problem.
