1995 Volvo 940

I have just purchased a used radio for my 1995 Volvo 940. I need help in retrieving radio code. Vin # is YV1JS8618S3209530 and radio Serial No # is V09150E0124463. Thanks

Since this is for a 940 and in the wrong section, I'm moving it to the correct location of this forum. A "ghost" thread will however still remain here in case some 850 owners know what to tell you (not sure if the 940 radio and FWD radio are the same or not).

Probably a different head unit but code procedure is the same.

Any Volvo dealer will supply the code free of charge when you give him the VIN number (if the radio is the original equipment) or the serial number if it has come from another car. Some dealers will do this over the phone but others need you to visit to prove ownership of the car/radio.
