Couple of questions
I'm jumping over here from the XC/V70 forum to ask a few questions, any input would be greatly appreciated. My daughter is looking at '11 XC90 3.2L with 108k mikes on it. Any specific quirks to be concerned about with these vehicles. Do they have timing belts or chains and pvc systems, like the earlier I5 Volvos. Thanks. Glenn

The Volvo 3.2L has a Timing Chain not a Timing Belt. Timing Chain is supposed to be good for the life of the motor, no maintenance interval.
No PVC system, PVC = PolyVinyl Chloride is the world's third-most widely produced synthetic plastic polymer.
The 3.2 does have a Positive Crankcase Ventilation system (PCV).
