Adjusting low beam headlights

Post by Roy »

My low beam lamps are way out of adjustment on my 1999 S80. Can anyone tell me how to go about adjusting them? Where are the adjustments?

Thanks in advance.

Roy. I just did this on my C70. There is a little tube poking out the back of my headlight assembly, towards the bottom and right in the middle. It juts back about 2 inches, and then goes up about 3/4 of an inch. The top of the tube is a white plastic piece with a phillips head screw in it. If you stick a phillips head screwdriver in the top of that tube and turn it, you will adjust the lights up and down.

Thanks to the guest who posted the information about adjusting the lower headlamp beams on my 1999 S80. Although the adjustment screw is a hex screw, the information did help me in finding and making the adjustment.

Any idea how you adjust them laterally.
