Starrter problems

Hello, my Volvo V50 from 2004, an 2.0D with about 270tkm. The engine does not start. If I turn the ignition switch to position III nothing more happens than at position II, the stater does not turn there is no click. So i take a look on the starter relais, ther comes no signal from ther ingition switch. If i took a short cable and link Batter+ to the small pin at the starter (magnetic switcht), the engine starts.
HELP :-)
Now i removed the speedo to take a look on the ingition switch, but i have nor wiring diagramm. Which of the two connetros at the ignition is for the starter? Which cable color to the starter Relais?
Please help me with a wiring diagram or another ideas.
