Ok, I know I'm talking to like 3 people here who would take an XC60 interior down to metal... I was so proud that I finally got a Volvo that didn't actively try to drown me. But that ship has sailed. Water just started to accumulate in the passenger footwell. AND it sloshes out from the little tray over the passenger's feet, under the dashboard (right/pass) so it's coming from above there somehow... I didnt' pull the waterfall [sic] and upper dash yet... but I hope my C30 prepared me for the job...
Drain tube is connected internally (A-pillar) and clear under the wiper panel...
Cabin Air filter was damp at the bottom inch or so, and nasty...
Just got an endoscope... so that will be fun. Other things to check?

The heater core maybe leaking. Are you getting a film build up on the inside of the windshield?
