No explanation. I wish I'd taken a photo. Would they be selling these out the back door after hours? It's a $50-75 tire patched.
I would advise in the future to steer clear of any auto related shop with the word "Discount" in the name. June

Just got off the phone with Jeff, didn't catch his title, but a regional office guy. Very helpful. They're refunding the $58 because it all doesn't make much sense, he said.

So now the Final Task is at hand, the boss level: communication with the store manager for the credit card credit.

I suspect its being posting on a popular web site entered into the decision making process for the manager at DTD.

I doubt he / they saw this. I didn’t mention it. It’s kinda heavy for what the problem is. Was.

I suppose it depends on if they have a program to match internet complaints to actual call-in complaining customers. If they do, then yea they matched me. Jeff didn’t say anything.

This really makes me want to get a tire machine and balancer. Any one in the SNH Area want to come and use my new to me machine? Or would I be the only one. You have to bring your own weights though.

I have a HF tire mounter and balancer to aviod these problems. Problem is the mounting/demounting tool doesn't work very well on low profile tires. It worked very well for the V70 (205/55R16), I hope it will work for our new V60 with 50 series 17" wheels, but I am skeptical.
Worth noting, new modern quality tires rarely need weights if you mount the dot correctly. I have verified this.
