Hello,
I'm hoping to get some idea as to what is wrong? Is this something common?
Description:
The crank pulley isn't moving and the spark plugs aren't getting any spark. I was driving and all the lights came on the dashboard - got into a parking lot and couldn't restart it.

If it the starter is engaging but the engine acts like it is locked up. Pull the timing belt cover off and check for a broken timing belt.

Thanks the timing belt was done within the last 10months. I'll check it out though.RickHaleParker wrote: ↑18 Nov 2019, 16:17If it the starter is engaging but the engine acts like it is locked up. Pull the timing belt cover off and check for a broken timing belt.
So, I finally got to check out the car. I didn't bring any tools or a voltmeter, which I should have.
I thought the battery was dead as the key fob didn't work. I used the key and unlocked the door manually. Popped the hood and saw the negative was disconnected on the car. Connected it back and the car had power. Oh, prior to that when I first got in the car, I put the key in the ignition and of course the car didn't start had no power at all and then the key would not release. That's when I checked under the hood.
So, the electric seat worked, wipers worked fine but either the car didn't have enough power to start or something else is wrong. The car did nothing when trying to start. No status messages other then needing washer fluid.
I most fluids were low...however the oil was extremely low. I'm talking about just a dab at the end of the stick. At this point the car might be to much of a liability as it could need an engine.
I did check the to make sure the connection on the computer (passenger side foot well) were secure, still nothing.
