ignition lock key not turning

Does this 91 940 se have pin keeping wheel from turning under plate locted at bottom of ignition assembly or does the actual cylinder need replacing?

I had this issue with my 1988 760 Turbo Intercooler Wagon. I ended up drilling the lock cylinder which is no easy task. You would need to source a lock cylinder with keys. The lock cylinder interchanges with 1988-1990 760, 1991-1992 940 SE, and 1991-1997 960/ 1997-1998 S90/V90. The ignition key also fit the doors on my 760. I replaced my door lock cylinders with parts from a 1991 740 (no more issue getting keys copied for my doors.
