By removing the sunroof and two of the trox screws on the cross brace, I was able to remove the shade for my sunroof without removing the headliner. I was hoping to replace it the same way. One of the things I had to do was remove the metal spring clip from the back section. I don't think I will be able to get that spring clip on once the panel is back in place.
The main thing stopping me is the rear cross brace. I can't get to the rearmost torx screws to raise it enough. Is there a way to get them loose?
Does anyone have the correct procedure for removing the sunshade?
Thanks,
Bill

It seems that you have stopped one step too soon. The gutter has to be removed.
These instructions are from VADIS. As you have removed the glass I haven't included that.
Whether or not you need to do the leak test is for you to decide. The special tool mentioned is a lock clamp for the hoses. Other things can be used to clamp them.

I hope this helps.
Bill.

Thank a lot.
The gutter is the part that wouldn't come forward. By removing some of the linkage, it would come far enough to remove to front screws, but not the back. I had the sunroof all the way closed when I removed the shade. I'll try it with the sunroof half-way back when I go to replace it.
