P261086 ECM/PCM Internal Engine Off Timer Performance. Bus Signal / Message Failures. Signal Invalid
Any suggestions how should approach this.
Thanks Blair
Update after learning how scan tool works
Sorry for the photo's the wrong way.
These readings were after a 15 minute run and the above codes where able to be cleared and did not return when rechecked.

Codes are in the wrong format, missing control module prefix.
P22700 is missing a digit.
Example: ECM-P261086.

ECM-P227200 O2 Sensor Signal Stuck Lean - Bank 2, Sensor 2. General Failure Information. No sub type information, B6324S5
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information
Condition
The engine control module (ECM) continuously detects the voltage of the rear lambda-sond (bank 2).
The engine's cylinders are counted starting with the cylinder farthest from the engine's flywheel.
If engine control module (ECM) detects that the voltage is not below or above a certain value, the engine control module (ECM) interprets this as a malfunction and generates diagnostic trouble code.
The diagnostic trouble code can be diagnosed after approx. 3-5 minutes with the engine running.
Substitute value
Rear heated oxygen sensor control is shut off.
Possible source
Fault symptoms
Warning lights and chimes/Malfunction Indicator Light ("Check engine" light) indication/no indication
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
ECM-P261086 ECM/PCM Internal Engine Off Timer Performance. Bus Signal / Message Failures. Signal invalid, B6324S5
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information
Condition
Central electronic module (CEM) sends information via the CAN-net about how long time has passed since the engine was turned off the last time. Engine control module (ECM) receives the signal and compares it to own calculated time (calculated based on temperature changes of engine temperature and outdoor temperature).
If engine control module (ECM) detects that the received time differs too much from the calculated time, the diagnostic trouble code is generated.
The diagnostic trouble code can be diagnosed when the ignition is on.
Hint:
The diagnostic trouble code can be incorrectly generated due to use of an engine heater or suddent external temperature changes.
Substitute value
The calculated time is used.
Possible source
Nothing.

My wife put forty miles on the car last night and when I checked it this morning the codes were clear.
Sounds like a connection problem as you stated.
Thanks for your reply, I will keep you posted.

So its been a couple of weeks and the O2 sensors codes have not returned.
Did some further check and found these two codes for the tranny and they won't clear.
TCM-P06O300,,,TCM-P089500
Don't notice any problems with the tranny or check engine lights.
I'm thinking the O2 codes might return in the warmer weather because connection problems.

TCM-P060300 means the TCM it is failing the TCM memory test.
TCM-P089500 means Shift Time Too Short due to Mechanical or Hydraulic faults in the transmission. However the TCM-P089500 test depends on values calculated in the transmission control module and TCM-P060300 indicates the TCM is brain damaged.
Sounds like your TCM is on it's last leg.
There is a chance it is communication errors. Battery healthy? Clean battery connectors? You might try cleaning the TCM electrical connector also check for shorts and opens in the TCM wiring harness.
If you had VIDA-DiCE you could see the pending TCM codes. Many pending TCM codes indicates communication problems but then again the brain damaged do not communication well. Kind of chicken and the egg thing. Did brain damage cause the communication problems or did communication problems create the appearance of brain damage?

I live in Ontario Canada and winter in South Carolina from Nov-april.
The temperature in the south has been ranging from 32f at night to 72 daytime.
I know I cleared them once and Bank 2 sensor 2 did return in the last month.
The last couple of weeks it has been colder(and the codes are clear) and I figure the connections would contract and expand with the warmer temps.
On the TCM the battery has been replaced (aftermarket not oem) about a year ago and ever since then and get a low battery message.
You say TCM brain damage,is it possible to open it up and inspect for cold solder joint problems?
