I have a project S80 that I've posted on before several times, thanks again to the board for all the helpful advice and such.
Latest issue:
During all of the work I did on the car over the last several months (top end rebuild) I replaced all four O2 sensors, but I'm still getting P0134 & P0154 codes return after being reset and multiple drives.
Car runs / idles very nicely, has power. Has no other codes other than P0756 / P01618 which I'm going to address with a full trans solenoid swap within a few weeks.
Any thoughts?
Both codes mean 'no activity', I can check again but I've got ground and 12v at the harnesses I believe.
Could the new front O2 sensors be sooted up from tinkering with the CVVT or driving it for a few days with a P0014 set?
If so is there a way to just clean them?

Also throwing P1171 after an extended drive? MAF sensor causing all of this?

It could be, but it could also be a vacuum leak or something of that nature. I had thought the MAF was causing my issues with stumbling, and now have two good MAFs. Same with the BPS. In other words, even if someone suggests a specific part as being suspect, still take the time to diagnose it.
I'd suggest finding some way to monitor the data in the ECU. Without live data from the car, from say Vida/Dice, it's quite difficult to tell what exactly the ECU thinks is happening, and how it's reacting.

Thanks for the reply Matt, my Dice is on the way from Hong Kong now. I don't want to throw parts at this thing until I'm sure what's wrong. Good advice.

DICE box arrived from Hong Kong today and works great, going to spend the weekend running tests and see what can be seen.

Solved the problem I think. Used my DICE / VIDA setup and got a display of real time data from the O2 Sensor values and the PCM fuel metering. They were all over the place. Pulled the front O2 sensors and they were sooty black, cleaned them with CRC contact cleaner and let them dry. Reconnected, and discovered that the last guy who worked on the car before I bought it had the front O2 sensor connectors swapped Left to Right. Not surprisingly, the car couldn't figure out how to meter fuel.
I swapped them back the correct spots and the sensor voltages front / rear and fuel metering fell back into range, and the car runs much better.
I haven't driven it yet, but I'll button it up and do so.

I just bought a Volvo S80 T6 2.9 with P0134 error. My Blue Driver Sensor records Bank 1 dead, and only Bank 2 downstream sensor reports solid 0.42V. I suspect all 4 O2 sensors are wired incorrectly. I'm going to pull the left front wheel off to see what's inside because I can't see the connectors from above. Do you have a photo of where the sensors should be connected?

Wow! I had the exact same issues on a 1999 S80 I bought cheap because the owner couldn't figure out the acceleration problem. His "mechanic" told him the catalytic convertors were plugged. So he removed the convertor and managed to reinstall the front sensors in the wrong position. (the real problem was the usual ETM failure - XeModeX took care of that).
Once I stumbled across your post the VIDA readings made perfect sense - Thanks!
