This is pretty nice! Not a B230FT though, not sure where he got that info.

I need those E code headlights and corners for my 240... I have E codes on the driver side, but not the passenger side. Someone replaced it with US parts after a minor collision.

VINDECODERZ comes back with B230FT/B23FT R4 2.3L. Look at this decode.

Pulled the front wheel off, Unity Quick Strut staring back at me. The right Strut mount is broken. I'll need to figure out my options.

Rears are still 4C, by condition looks like originals. They been in there a long time.

That's probably where then... that site is obviously not too accurate considering it says it has an M56 transmission.

Take a look in the Facebook groups... you could probably score a good deal on a good used set of Four C struts.

They look so pretty new out of the box!
I reckon it does make sense to get wheels that are more open, for displaying the R calipers
Why show your calipeRs when they just get Rusty fasteR than Regulars

Yeah, that is a good tip off

Nice score though, Rick, especially in Atacama leather. Sell that for a $2500 and put $100 of pnp leather back in

I agree that wrapping the pipe is a silly and almost certainly useless modification but it's not so clear that it is actually counterproductive? It gets pretty warm in the engine bay. They wrapped the pipe that runs over the hot engine, not the intercooler that passes outside air.

True, and the OTE pipe is pre-intercooler anyway, so you're not going to have much heat dissipation going on there. And how much of a temperature difference could there be between the charge air running through that pipe versus the engine?

Not as nice as I was hoping. Tried to check the oil when I was looking it over, the handle on the dipstick was separated from the stick so I could not check.

Topped off the coolant with a gallon of water. It all disappeared. Fished the stick out of the tube, water in the crankcase. I was hoping it was the radiator but from what I can see the engine coolant and the oil coolant are completely two separate systems on this car.

Head gasket, warped head, remote possibly cracked in the block. I can not think of anything else. Be wonderful if somebody else can.

Guess it time for me to replace the Compression tester that got stolen.

It has a biscuit oil cooler yes - the only place oil and coolant can mix on a P2 is in the engine.
