Nice write-up. I would love to do this to my Volvo but I can't find the vacuum tree. 1995 940 wagon.

researching seafoam for application on my 1997 850, I came across your post: What size rubber tubing did you use to fit one of the capped vacuum port on the vacuum tree. Where did you get or bought it?
I appreciate a quick response…Thank you.

MUCH MUCH easier to use it that way and is more effective in cleaning the carbon off the pistons, chamber and valves done that way! Be sure you do a throttle plate and MAF clean also to get the full effect.
Seafoam In the tank is ok but I think there are better injector cleaners out there ( like the LUCAS) and I don't use it in the crankcase.
I just bought a used 04 xc90 and want to use the spray seafoam. Where do I spray it in at.

Can anyone post a picture on where exactly to put the new nozzle spray seafoam?
maybe update the the intake seafoam procedure for the spray version?

The spray seafoam goes into your intake. On other cars I just snake it between intake hose & TB and spray it past the butterfly valve. I’m not sure how accessible that is on this car. I’m having intermittent P0016 exhaust over-advance codes which I thought was the timing at first. I’m figuring it’s either the solenoid or the gear but trying this fix first for sh*ts&gigs. Or who knows maybe I did the timing wrong and the code went away (i doubt that would happen right?)

Oh and I’ll update with the tube diameter when I figure it out.

I plan on investing in a chinese vida so when I do I’ll do a little write-up with my findings

Watch out for the Chinese code readers. I have one bought several years ago that's almost brand new was only used on 3 cars to test it—after it failed to work on my 850. It didn't work on any of the other vehicles I tested in the local indy shop either. So it's junk. It's the MaxiDiag EU 702. I think at the time others on the forum were recommending it.
