Seriously, this has so much time, effort, and dollars invested into it. I'm amazed it hasn't been taken yet. It would have been spoken for long ago up here.

Couple questions for you:
- The headlight lenses, how do they seem with the fluted lenses combined w/factory HID's?
- How do you like your Mototec DP & catback exhaust? Do they make a straight-shot pipe you can install in place of the removable Cat?
- Maybe I missed it, but who is the ECM tune by & what does your boost gauge typically show?

Several things caught my eye with this VR, way to go! Practically a spittin' image of my 04 M66.
I truly hope this goes to someone who has a great appreciation for P2 R (non-Atacama) wagons & most of all, your efforts.
I'd love to own it, but I'm after an 06-07 auto VR.

Sorry for the delay in checking in. Since I took it off the market here I've been driving the heck out of it. I put the summer wheels and tires on and have been enjoying the clear dry roads here in Montana where the Interstate speed limit is 80+, wink, wink!

Pete to answer your questions the new headlight lenses work great, no issues; yes I believe mototec does make a straight-shot pipe; and after I had the electronic throttle body done by XeMoDeX I took it to a shop in Bozeman Montana who did the software reloads just to make sure everything was up to speed.

Loosenut I am on the fence with whether or not I'm going to sell. If I do I'm leaning towards putting it on BaT with no reserve. Unless of course I get an incredible offer above my last listed price of $4250.00.

After I read your parts list I dug up info on the DP by Mototec.

I ordered one. I liked it so much I ordered a second one! Easily superior to any of the 3 other DP’s I owned at the time. I love the sound, the beautiful craftsmanship/materials & versatility of the multi-piece, V-band connected & catted DP. I won’t take up anymore of your thread, just wanted to leave my best regards (& say thanks for unknowingly tipping me off to the Mototec DP)!

Best of luck with the decision making & glad your enjoying the car.

This one will leave no one let down!
