Update!! Previous posts of no reverse lightS
Hello everyone, I figured I post a really amazing development. I previously posted a bunch of posts about my non functioning reverse lights and the massive corrosion on two connectors. I ended up using a replacement marine grade connector and a four wire weatherproof connector. Here are some before and after pics. Also my transmission does not shift really hard into reverse like it did for about two years, I also mentioned this mystery in a previous post. I guess I’m probably one of the few who still have a really old 960 that will need this type of connector one day.

That's a good job and solution. Did you solder or crimp?
I'm going to have to do something similar. The wires coming down to the 3 connectors have become hard and brittle.

I soldered everything. I feel that’s the best way to go. The hardest part was visualizing the new color code from the old. I must of looked over and drawed out the wiring 37 times before I decided to connect everything. I did not want to short out the computers in the car
