So I had an issue with the car starting up and replaced the starter on Thursday. After replacement, the car started up great. The battery and alternator had no issue. I drove the car around without issue. On Friday afternoon, I went to get gas and when I tried to start the car, I got nothing. Not turning over etc. All the dummy lights showed, but the car did not even click or anything. I tried starting it in neutral but got nothing. I waited a bit and tried starting the car again and got nothing. I left the car overnight and then just tried starting the car this morning and it started right up. Not sure what is going on. Can anyone help? I do not want to be stranded somewhere.
Thank you.

The root cause in your situation may be different, but on my car the connection between the wire and the terminal on the positive battery cable was corroded. It caused intermittent no-cranks especially when hot. You can check if this is happening on your car by doing the voltage drop test between the battery and starter. There have been a few detailed write-ups on diagnosing the voltage drops, for example a good one here: viewtopic.php?t=69151
