How can I adjust hand brake?

2001 - 2004 V70 XC (Cross Country)
2004 - 2007 XC70 (Cross Country)
2001 - 2009 S60
2003 - 2007 S60 R

How can I adjust hand brake?

My XC70 (65k) handbrake needs tension, but I don't know how to do it and certaionly do not want to pay US$100 oo more for what I think must be an easy task.....Any advise, please???

Since you are posting in the '01 and newer section, I have to assume that your XC is at least an '01. You'll have to pull the leather away from the handbrake lever and then do the following:
