Also should say the round trip is 7000km as he can't cut through the US.

Like wise. He seems to be able to drive long distances easily. Maybe the fact he is a pilot for a large flight company makes doing this type of thing easier. Although talking to him yesterday in Ontario while he was waiting for coffee at a Tim Hortons in Kinora, he did say he was getting too old for this nonsense. I also hope all goes well. He will be leaving the Volvo for his son to pick up and drive to his sisters house nearby and then staying in a Air BnB next door for 14 days. Dad will flies back and then return in 2 weeks to drive back with is son. That is love!
