Where do you get your bulbs from for the brake lights, rear fog lamp?

Rockauto?

How
Can you make sure it’s a
Correct voltage replacement?

Not sure if someone else put the wrong bulb in there.

Meh. Just get it from fcpeuro, they'll refund you after your first purchased bulb breaks and you buy the replacement.

I buy Hella brand bulbs from Summit Racing. Very reasonably priced, at least that’s what I’ve experienced.

Try not to buy the cheapest bulb that fits. Hella is good. No name bulbs not so good. Too much trouble to keep replacing and you may get a ticket for burned out bulbs.

One strategy I have thought of for beating a bulb ticket is to carry a few in the glovebox and tell officer warning light just went on, have bulb on hand, but couldn't find a safe place to pull over and change it. Could work. Never tried it.

My gripe with rear lamps is with the odd holders the bulbs go into first.

I have a brake light holder/socket which is not making contact well. Plus a position lamp just went out so I best get back to it.

Is anyone other than me annoyed at Volvo for changing the owner's manual so as to make bulb sizing a scavenger hunt? They once featured a picture (rear cover) with bulb specs right on the pic and lines to the appropriate light. Super useful. Newer owner's manual, not so much.
