Where the heck is the distributor on a 1996 volvo 960. I'm trying to fix my ignition timing but can't seem to find the distributor cap. If anyone could point me in the right direction....

The ignition timing is computer controlled and cannot be adjusted.

Then i have a really big problem because i went to autozone to get the code readings, and the guy said that my timing was off. there is also a misfire in three cylinders. if there is any way to change the timing....i'm kind of doing this for a friend and he's having a lot of problems with this car..
