Can some man with the brain read and confirm please?
on driveshaft removal..

Lift front wheels on stands
Block and chock
Transmission in Neutral

Six H6 screws on front CV. Turn shaft to access

The rear has the same H6 bolts but you can turn the rear because the drive is viscous coupled. Maybe with a pipe wrench.

Two M8 hex bolts to remove center carrier bearing working above exhaust

Loosen

The theory is ok. However, I have always had all 4 wheels off the ground When doing this as I was either at PnP junkyard so car was on stands or when at home I have been then going on to do something at the rear afterwards. I have not tired to turn the prop-shaft with the rear through the viscous coupling. Like you suggest, this should be able to be done but I don't know how tight the VC unit is and wary about damaging it.

I put the S70 on all fours so I could get my PortlyPearPuddle under the car, so it is still unconfirmed if you can turn the rear against the viscous coupling.

Ahem, I have a similar issue of getting under my cars. My chest appears to have slipped downwards and joined with my waist moving upwards. My solution is to build a very expensive garage and put a hoist in it (hopefully!!).
