Went to look at it today. AutoCheck said 2 accidents, front strut assembly new with Volvo sticker. Lower front spoiler missing pieces and several areas glued with what looks like Liquid Nail. Driver's side of engine very noisy, sounds like a dried bearing. So loud it could be a water pump, upper end, powersteering or AC compressor. Engine starts right up but did not seem to rev well. PASS!MoVolvos wrote: ↑24 Jul 2020, 22:44 *

Man, if only that was an M46 car, it would be perfect!
I have so many things to say about that S80... WHY do you need to cut weight in a 2.9 NA S80? It's not a damn race car. Then "straight piped" and "sounds good"... I'm betting not. And why paint it black? I don't know why people repaint cars like crap then expect that it'll raise the value or something. Trust me, it NEVER looks good.Dave in Maine wrote: ↑28 Jul 2020, 08:19 Here's an interesting one: 1971 1800, one or two owners, first owner >45 years with it.

Here's one that might well be worth saving. 96 850 sedan, 1800 At this price and "Come see it ... make offer" worth the effort

This one, well, for the tuners and so on. 2002 s80, 1000, ravaged by hot rodder https://maine.craigslist.org/cto/d/wind ... 99890.html
And 2 C70s: a '99 https://maine.craigslist.org/cto/d/elio ... 94341.html and a '00 https://maine.craigslist.org/cto/d/stoc ... 20470.html
If I had a garage either of the convertibles would be worth it.
