Now, I can't get the new crank to fit, something's wrong. Maybe I'll donate it to the Financial Distress Parts Pool thread...
Now this IS in MT, at a local machine shop I have used. They do a lot of scheduled maintenance on heavy equipment.)

Today I saw a very tidy 240 wagon, maybe late 80s / early 90s(?). Silver, very good condition, completely stock, original hubcaps, Yakima racks, little round foglights on the bumper. You see them out there once in a while.

I am trying to order some Ford truck rear axle parts from Torque King in Billings, Montana. Parts are for my 1977 F350. Working on this truck is so different from modern Volvos. Those are interesting counterweights. It looks like they are separate from the crank and individually attached. In a previous job, I designed a positive displacement fluid pump with a counterweight crankshaft. It was rated for 400 HP at 900 RPM. Maximum connecting rod load was about 60,000 pounds.
