Pentofrost is a good choice
The Evil Volkswagen Empire has different classifications for coolant
G11 Glysantin G48 (HOAT, Silicates) (VW G11, Volvo, BMW, Mercedes)
G12
G12+
G12++
G13
This link explains it well
https://blog.fcpeuro.com/how-to-pick-th ... r-your-car
The G11 isn't compatible with G12
The G11 is compatible with G12+, G12++, G13
When I changed the Radiator on my 2010 S80 I switched to a G13 coolant
For best results when switching the old coolant should be flushed out.
The G13 and the G12++ seem to be very similar with the G13 being more environmently friendly.
Quote " The glycol based G12++ was replaced by the glycerol based G13 coolant. The advantage of the G13 lays in a better economic safety and lower production costs. " https://www.ato24.de/en/blog/which-coolant-antifreeze/
Thanks
Paul
