Hy Buddies,
My slave cylinders died this evening. The cool thing is that it happened while I was trying to leave home. Nobody on the side of the road 20 miles away : the nightmare...
I've read some posts about this question hoping a tutorial or couple of pictures. May be I have missed something.
Abscise says Sachs is such a good stuff. So " en route " !
I will order new slave cylinder. Any advice before doing this job ?
Do I have to replace the master cylinder also ? Has it something to do with the brake cylinder ?
Little question for my mechanical general culture : where does the first part stay on the clutch ?
Thanks to all who will advice me.

If you are asking about the general arrangement of the clutch master and slave cylinders, here is basic information: Your clutch foot pedal is connected by mechanical linkage to the clutch master cylinder. There is no connection to the brake system. Fluid is forced from the master cylinder to the slave cylinder through a steel line/ rubber hose. The slave cylinder will be mounted near the clutch and engage/disengage the clutch through a short linkage.

Thanks so much volvolugnut for your explanation. I've found a video from our friend Robert DIY on a other post that explains the mechanical operation. It's really cool to be allow to ask a question as a newbie and to get an answer less than 2 hours. Merci !
